About the Role

As software analyst, you will act as the lynchpin between our development team and end users, translating complex technical details into comprehensive, actionable insights. You will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document software requirements. Your keen eye for detail and ability to see the bigger picture will be invaluable in guiding our projects from the beginning to successful delivery. You will also be responsible for rewriting code, providing updates to users and resolving issues and ambiguities between and within development teams.
Your daily responsibilities:
Organising project requirements into programming sequences by analysing end-user requirements (through workflow charts, diagrams, programming languages, etc.);
Solving complex problems related to business requirements and objectives and designing efficiënt IT-systems to meet them;
Analysing, designing and developing modifications and changes to all existing software systems/tools/applications to improve and endure performance;
Developing testprocedures, programming and documentation;
Installing new programs/tools/systems and training end users to use them effectively;
Matching systems integration with team needs;
Training and developing peer software analysts and other software professionals;
Confirming the operation of programs by running tests; changing program order and/or codes.
Researching, evaluating and recommending solutions and appropriate technology.

You also have:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or related;
Experience (minimum 5 years) as software analyst or similar;
Extensive experience with technical projects is a must;
Desired: knowledge of low-code, the cloud, databases and system security;
A strong analytical mindset and the ability to understand business needs;
Excellent communication - and problem solving skills.

Als software analist fungeer je als de spil tussen onze ontwikkelingsteams en de eindgebruikers, waarbij je ingewikkelde technische details vertaalt naar uitgebreide, bruikbare inzichten. Je zult nauw samenwerken met zowel technische als niet-technische belanghebbenden om softwarevereisten te verzamelen, analyseren en documenteren. Je scherpe oog voor detail en vermogen om het grotere plaatje te zien, zijn van onschatbare waarde bij het begeleiden van onze projecten vanaf de start tot succesvolle oplevering. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het herschrijven van code, aanleveren van updates aan gebruikers en het oplossen van problemen en onduidelijkheden tussen en binnen ontwikkelteams.
Jouw dagelijkse verantwoordelijkheden:
Projecteisen ordenen in programmeervolgorde door eisen van eindgebruikers te analyseren (d.m.v. workflow charts, diagrammen, programmeertalen etc.);
Oplossen van complexe problemen met betrekking tot bedrijfsvereisten en –doelstellingen en het ontwerpen van efficiënte IT-systemen om hieraan te voldoen;
Analyseren, ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van aanpassingen en veranderingen aan alle bestaande softwaresystemen/tools/toepassingen om de prestaties te verbeteren en de levensduur te behouden;
Ontwikkelen van testprocedures, programmering en documentatie. Tevens analiseer en implementeer je deze;
Installeren van nieuwe programma's/tools/systemen en eindgebruikers trainen om deze effectief te kunnen gebruiken;
Integratie van systemen en teambehoeften op elkaar afstemmen;
Trainen en ontwikkelen van andere software analisten/software professionals;
Bevestigen van de werking van programma's door tests uit te voeren; wijzigen van programmavolgorde en/of codes.
Onderzoek, evaluatie en aanbevelen van oplossingen en geschikte technologie.

Verder heb jij:
Een Bachelordiploma in informatica, informatietechnologie, bedrijfskunde, techniek of aanverwant;
Ervaring (minimaal 5 jaar) als software analist of soortgelijk;
Ruime ervaring met technische projecten is een must;
Het is een pré als je ook kennis hebt van low-code, de Cloud, databases en systeembeveiliging;
Een zeer analytische instelling en het vermogen om zakelijke behoeften te begrijpen;
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en een probleemoplossend vermogen.
